”I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.”
Diane Arbus (1923 – 1971)
I am a photographer from Germany, who lives in the Czech Republic. In my everyday life, I am working as Marketing Manager for a well-known Czech car manufacturer.
Photography is a passion to me without intention to realise a monetary profit. It's my means of choice to relax and a compensation for an interesting and challenging job.
This puts me in the comfortable situation that I can focus only on projects that I really like. I don't have to earn my rent (and not either my equipment) with my photographic work. Therefore I am also open-minded for voluntary jobs, as long as they are interesting to me and fit into my portfolio.
As teenager I got my first single-lens reflex camera. I loved taking photographs and used my analogue Canon EOS a lot. Even then I enjoied shooting people.
After a very long period while only using digital point-and-shoot cameras, I became aware on Street Photography. In 2014 I bought my first Olympus system camera and tried shooting this by my self. It was the new beginning of a fascinating hobby, whose results you find on this website.
If you have an idea for a photographic project I might like, please do not hesitate contacting me! :-)
